Coscharis, Weststar, Toyota Grabbed Multiple Laurels at NAJA awards

Coscharis Motors, Weststar and Toyota Nigeria emerged as top winners at the recently held 18th annual Nigeria Auto Journalists’ Association (NAJA) International Auto Awards.

The December 2025 awards, which had grown into a critical industry barometer, spotlighting innovation, market performance and contribution to the local automotive ecosystem, had in attendance major automobile players in the country.
It was all smiles as
Coscharis Motors won the awards for ‘Luxury and Multi-Brand Prowess Rewarded,’ ‘Multiple Brand Auto Company of the Year’ and ‘Luxury Auto SUV of the Year,’ which was awarded to the Range Rover Autobiography, a model that combines premium performance with luxury appeal.

In the same vein, Weststar Associates, the country’s franchise holder for Mercedes-Benz, added to the night’s big winners with two honours: ‘Luxury Car of the Year’ – Mercedes-Benz E-Class’ and ‘Luxury Brand of the Year’ – Mercedes-Benz.

Toyota Nigeria was no exception. The big brand took home three major awards at the ceremony.

The company won ‘Minibus of the Year’ with Toyota Hiace, ‘Pick-Up of the Year’ with Toyota Hilux and ‘Workshop of the Year,’ which was given to Toyota’s ultra-modern Isolo workshop in Lagos.

The workshop was recognised for its after-sales excellence and technical competence.

Besides, Jetour Dashing was named Nigeria’s ‘2025 Car of the Year’ in a fiercely contested category, while local and emerging players, including JIM-ISUZU, JéGO EV and Nord A9, were celebrated as ‘New Entrants of the Year.’
