Completing the integration process,
SAGLEV Electromobility Company Limited, Nigeria’s pioneer indigenous electric vehicle (EV) assembler and manufacturer, has announced the visits of
two high-profile personalities to its electric vehicle (EV) facility in Lagos.
Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole is expected to embark on a familiarization tour of SAGLEV’s state-of-the-art EV assembly plant situated at Bang Amos Industrial Estate in Imota, Lagos
on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
The company stated that the visit underscores the “Federal Government’s growing commitment to green industrialization, local manufacturing, and innovation in Nigeria’s automotive sector.”
In the same vein, the next day, Thursday, July 31, 2025, the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina will also tour the facility as part of his ongoing efforts to support regional sustainable industrial development and climate-resilient transportation infrastructure.
